Celebrating the Romanian culture with Cantus Mundi
The National Culture Day has always found a certain place in the agenda of Bucharest Airports National Company, which starts every year with an event dedicated to poet Mihai Eminescu, as well as to the Romanian culture and traditions. This time, the Departures terminal of "Henri Coandă" Bucharest International Airport hosted, on January 15, the concert offered by "The New Generation", one of the more than 1800 choirs gathered under the umbrella of Cantus Mundi National Program, a visionary concept of conductor Ion Marin, who had the idea to create the largest social integration program in Romania through choral singing for children and young people. The emotion, expressiveness and purity of these talented children shed joy, hope and confidence among the passengers, convincing us, once again, that music has the power to change the world.
